Where are we able to store our personal items?
- The Fairmont Aquatic Park has lockers available for no charge in our changing rooms. Personal items may also be brought out to the deck area.
What forms of payment are accepted?
- The Fairmont Aquatic Park accepts: cash, check (made payable to the City of Fairmont or Fairmont Aquatic Park), Visa or Mastercard, and passes issued by the Fairmont Aquatic Park.
Can food and beverage be brought into the Fairmont Aquatic Park?
- The Aquatic Park allows no outside food or beverages, with the exception of baby bottles and water, into the Park. The Park has a wide variety of food and beverage items available for purchase at the concession stand.
Once I enter the Park, can I re-leave and enter later?
- Yes. Before you leave the Aquatic Park, get your hand stamped at the front desk so you can re-enter at a later time that day.
Do I have to pay if I don't swim?
- All persons entering the Aquatic Park, including spectators, are required to pay the daily admission rate.
How old do you have to be to go down the slides?
- Children must be 48 inches tall to ride the slides. Only one rider down the slides at a time. There is a small slide available for younger children in our kiddie pool.
Flotation devices are not allowed at the Aquatic Park. Why?
- Examples of flotation devices include: beach balls, water wings, lifejackets, fun noodles, etc. Flotation devices are not allowed at the Fairmont Aquatic park for the following reasons:
Flotation devices are not life preservers
They promote overconfidence in poor swimmers
They encourage the care giver to pay lesson attention to their swimmer(s)
Poor swimmers are more likely to swim in deep water where trouble could occur more rapidly
Many floatation devices hold children in an incorrect position, which could cause the child to easily tip over
Many flotation devices are made of plastic that could easily pop or deflate
Flotation devices clog the pool and encourage horseplay
