All area residents are invited to share in the fun at the 5th Annual Community Appreciation Picnic sponsored by Martin County Agricultural organizations. This free event will be held Sunday, September 21, at Heritage Acres. This is a rain or shine event.

The picnic will be 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. or until the food is gone. Various exhibits will enhance consumer knowledge on agricultural commodities and their importance to our area. Register for prizes at the various exhibits.

Sponsors include: Martin County Corn Growers Association, Martin County Soybean Growers Association, Martin County Pork Producers, South Central Cattlemen’s Association, Martin County Dairy Association, Martin Soil and Water Conservation District, Rural Advantage – Linda Meschke, Agri - Business Committee of the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce, Martin County Farm Bureau, and Heritage Acres.
