Gayle is an Chief Operating Officer for the Fairmont Medical Center - Mayo Health System. Gayle lives in Iowa with her husband Rod. They have a daughter Rachel and a son Roderick.

Gayle has received her Bachelor's Degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD and also has her Master's Degree from the University of Phoenix. She is a member of the American Organization of Leaders in Nursing. She also is a member of the Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing, as well as, the North Iowa Music Boosters.

She enjoys music, reading, and watching sports activities. Gayle agreed to be a part of the Chamber Board of Directors because she cares about Fairmont and considers it as her business home. She understands the impact Fairmont has on surrounding communities and wants to give back to a community that is important to her.
