The Junior Achievement program will be offered in both the public and private schools. Junior Achievement has proven to be engaging and fun while stressing the importance of an education as they introduce economic concepts and information about the world of work. For the future of our community, it is vitally important for businesses to work with the schools so our children are aware of the opportunities here in virtually any occupation they may be interested in. Junior Achievement is an ideal way to start this process.

The Junior Achievement program includes all grades from K-6. We are seeking volunteer teachers for the following sessions that run for five weeks, one hour each week, during the school day. Start times, grades, and subjects are:

October - Grade 3 - Our City
October - Grade 4 - Our Region
November - Grade 6 - Our World
January - Grade 2 - Our Community
March - Grade 1 - Our Families
March – Kindergarten - Ourselves
April - Grade 5 - Our Nation
