Business Retention and Expansion:
- Fairmont Economic Development Authority has designed a Business Retention Program visiting all business as often as practical.
- The primary industrial area is the Fairmont Industrial Park. The majority of the lots are fully serviced with sewer, water, storm sewer, blacktop road, curb and gutter, natural gas and some lots have rail access. The land is controlled by the City of Fairmont. Many types of financial arrangements are available. Details to be negotiated on a case by case basis.
