Fairmont Planning Commission

Overview
The Planning Commission is an advisory body to the City Council in matters regarding conditional use permits, amendment to the zoning ordinance and zoning map, and the platting and subdivision of land. The Commission reviews and revises the comprehensive plan and recommends to the Council proposals regarding zoning, use of land and structure, and placement of structures as well as other regulations related to public health, welfare, safety and convenience.
