City of Fairmont MN             Shelter Reservations

 

Thank you for your interest in hosting an event in Fairmont. The City of Fairmont has three shelter houses you can reserve for $50.00 per day. The $50.00 fee must be paid in advance to confirm the reservation date. A cancellation of the reservation must be received two months prior to the event in order to be eligible for a refund.

There are many requests throughout the year for the park shelters. We recommend making your reservation as soon as possible.

Rules to be followed:

  • All parks in Fairmont have an 11:00 p.m. curfew, enforced by the police department.
  • All parks in Fairmont have a 10:00 p.m. noise ordinance, enforced by the police department.
  • The renter must clean the beach house immediately following the event. Cleaning includes wiping off tables, sweeping floors, and placing all garbage in containers.
  • Please lock the door when you leave
  • Return the key to city hall as soon as possible after the event.
  • Note: any cleanup required by city park crews will be charged back to the renter accordingly.

Lincoln park beach house - Open May 15 - December 15

    Wedding charge is $150.00, includes the enclosed shelter house for the day and set up of benches for 100 people. There is an additional charge of $1.00 per every person over 100 people. The weddings take place by the white trellised arbor and the benches are set up to the east of that in such a way as to provide an aisle. A non-refundable fee of $50.00 will reserve the park for that day, balance is due two months in advance of the reservation date. No refund for inclimate weather.

    Sylvania park beach house

A. system (mixer plus microphone available if needed at no extra charge). There are 110 benches which will seat approximately 220 people comfortably.

    Cedar Creek park shelter house

    Gomsrud Park
