1. Call to Order

Meeting of the Fairmont Area Youth Council held on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m.

2. Roll Call - If at least 4 members are present state that we have a quorum for tonight’s meeting.

- Recap on November 7^th Dance

- DJ: Stage One Sound

- Time 8:00 – 11:30 p.m.

- Admission $4.00 or $3.00 with two food donation items

- Beverages for sale: Pop and water

- Food items – Council to decide at tonight’s meeting

- Possibly a council member purchase the food and bring to the KC Hall. Keep receipts!!!

- Styles: have you contacted Wal-Mart

- Betsy will make the various media contacts and send out posters to councilmembers as the date approaches.

5. New Business

- Red Ribbon Week – October 23-31

- Distribute Red Ribbon Week Items

- Daily School announcements: Casey

- Tie Ribbons around school yard trees and post ribbons on lockers

- History posters around school

- Posters

- City Council: Will meet with City Council in November/December after RRW and our Dance
