1. Call to Order

- Regular meeting of the Fairmont Area Youth Council held on Monday, November 1, 2004 at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. in the Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers.

2. Roll Call of Members Present

- Motion to pass the minutes from the October 25, 2004 meeting

- 5 ideas – Council vote on ideas

- Salvation Army Bell Ringing

* November 20 in Hy-Vee

* 2 shifts (10-12) & (12-2)

* We can put up a sign stating that we are volunteering.

* Tuesday, December 14 in Shopko with Healthy Youth Committee

* All time slots are available (10-12, 12-2, 2-4, 4-6, 6-8)

* Are you interested in ringing the bell with them or want to do it on our own?

* What about doing 1 service project a month?

- Officer Bleese will be the guest speaker at the November 15th meeting. He will discuss the CounterAct program.

- The City Council is interested in having the youth council give them an update on November 22 or December 13. Representatives will be needed – any volunteers? We will report on the volunteer projects, new member (YIPEE), and also the letters we have sent out, etc.
