graduating this May, when should the FAYC hold elections for president?
- Healthy Youth Committee
The Healthy Youth Committee is seeking a FAYC representative to attend
an upcoming meeting.
Anyone interested?
- Seminar Information
The Fairmont Area Police would like us to help them distribute
information about their upcoming seminar to FHS students. They would like us to
put up posters, hand out flyers, make announcements and inform friends. The
seminar is January 19th @
- City Council
One or two individuals from FAYC should attend a City Council meeting,
informing then on the upcoming dance, t-shirt purchase, etc. City council meets
the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at

Everyone’s help is needed to make this dance a huge success. We are responsible to set-up and clean
up immediately after the dance.
Budget – Should we set-up a budget for this dance?
Table
· Do we want to have a table with applications, brochures, etc?
Chaperones/Security

Curfew - On weekends, curfew for 15 year olds and under is
officers will know that they are coming from the dance.
· Tickets – How was that handled in the past? Sell at the door? Stamp Hands? We could have
boxes that state the different area schools and have the youth throw half of their ticket stub in the box in order to monitor where the youth are coming from?
· Chaperones – I think we
will need 6-12 chaperones. The police are aware of the dance date. Betsy will
contact them as the date gets closer to the dance. Who would you like to ask? By when? Each person, who are you going to ask??
Opera House
· Opera House information – Betsy & Shanna

Everyone’s help is needed to get the facility ready for our dance. Mark your calendar for April 2 and April 3.
DJ
· DJ information – Betsy & Shanna

Since April 3 is right around the corner, we need to agree on a DJ ASAP.
Pizza
· Jakes, Godfather’s, Pizza Hut, Green Mill – Kendra
· What
is used to keep the pizza hot?
Pop/ Water
· We
would like pop with a screw top –
· Does the Opera House have a water fountain?
· Water from Hy-Vee - Kendra
· Everyone will need to bring a cooler to keep the pop/water cold!!!
Food

Movie
· What movies? From where – Mr. Movies,
Premier, Hy-Vee? Who will check this out?
· Projector – The Opera House has a projector and it sounds like it will be available for our use.
