- October Service Project – Assist at the Humane
Society and at next meeting decorate pumpkins and donate to assisted living.

- Red Ribbon Week
Red ribbon week is an
annual event to promote drug prevention. Red Ribbon Week is the most
far-reaching and well-known drug prevention event in
- Please take a few minutes to review the attached
sheets for ideas on activities and events to host, etc.
- The council has budgeted close to $2,000 dollars
for this event – Stickers to hand out, bracelets, and ribbons for cars.
Everything needs to be approved by the schools/community – but is there
anything else you rather do or do in addition to these items? Would we want to
plan a dance around Halloween and incorporate Red Ribbon Week into it – call it
“ROCKIN For Red” or something like that? Have a table at schools with treats
and create brochures and posters to hang around school?
