- Regular meeting of the Fairmont Area Youth Council held on Monday, September 20, 2004 at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. in the Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers.

* Kendra is the FAYC President

* Jon is the FAYC Vice-President

* Kimbra is the FAYC Secretary

Please review the information that pertains to your position.

- City Council, Boards, & Commissions

- We are hoping that each council member will be sitting on a city commission/board/council starting in October. Watch for an upcoming mailing regarding the group you chose to sit on.

- FAYC Information

- Information was sent to Marcia Findley. She will pass this information along to students who are interested in the youth council and those who would like to make a difference in the youth community.

4. New Business

- Service Projects

* Attached is a list of groups/organizations that would like us to do some volunteer projects for them.

- What are your thoughts?

- This will give us some exposure to the public and inform them of our organization. Our participation in service projects can be listed on our brochure, on the website, etc.

- Brainstorming

* What are some of the council’s goals for the year 2004-2005?
