- Regular meeting of the Fairmont Area Youth Council held on Monday, September 6, 2004 at City Hall at 9:00 a.m. in the Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers.

- Summer Activity

* Thoughts, comments, etc. on Back to School Bash

-Do it again?

* Review the attached revenue/expenses sheet & information sheet (purple & yellow)

5. New Business

- Officer Positions

* Kendra is the FAYC President

* Jon is the FAYC Vice-President

* Kimbra is the FAYC Secretary

- Service Projects

* Would the youth council like to do some service projects this fall?

-When, where, what type of project(s)?

- This will give us some exposure to the public and inform them of our organization. Our participation in service projects can be listed on our brochure, on the website, etc.

- City Council, Boards, & Commissions

* Please review the sheets you filled out earlier in the year. Do you still want to be on the board/council/commission that you signed up for?

* Hopefully next month, everyone will be expected to attend the council/board/commission that they signed up for.

* Does each person report on what is going on at their council/board/commission meeting to the FAYC at the next FAYC meeting?

- Brainstorming

* Think of ways to obtain additional funding

* We cannot apply for a FAYF grant until Jan.(?)
