Minutes from January 30, 2006 Meeting

1. The official meeting was called to order at 7:05p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

2. Excused absence – Ashlee, Amber, Ricky, & Chelsey (Concert) & Ryan (Wrestling Meet)

Unexcused absence - Nathan

3. Minutes from the January 17^th, 2006 meetings were passed

4. Old Business
1. PowerPoint: Nathan to report on progress at next meeting
2. Justa to write Sentinel article up and coming.
3. Teen Driving Presentation – Scratched

- No posters or information is to be made

5. New Business
1. Pizza Fundraiser

- Information packets will be distributed at Feb. 13 meeting

- Selling Dates: Feb 13 – March 10 Info needs to be to Betsy on March 13

- FAYC will make/deliver pizzas on March 25 @ United Methodist Church at 8:00 a.m.

- Money to go toward dance & Kick Butts Day

2. Dance

1. Council approved pizza/pop/water for sale and free treats at event

a. Ashlee is to go shopping with Betsy

b. Jesse to make signs

2. Savanna to make posters to advertise event

3. Jon to make driving signs/direction signs

3. Kick Butts Day

- Each council member is to brainstorm ideas on how to make this a HUGE community event.

4. General Info

- Each council member to bring 1 idea of a project the youth council could work on.

1. City Council Meeting Schedule: Monday, Feb. 13^th: Jon

Monday, Feb. 27^th: Nathan & Amber

7. Next Meeting Dates: Monday, Feb. 13^th @ 7:00 p.m.

We will be making St. Patrick’s Day Decorations for Lakeview
