Minutes from December 1, 2008 Meeting

 

  1. The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. at the Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers

     

  1. Councilmember Sanden, Grieschar, Shelton, and S. Johnson were present

 

  1. Council approved minutes from the November 7, 2008 meeting

 

  1. Open Discussion
    1. No items for open discussion

 

  1. Old Business

            a.   November 7th dance

-     Approximately 185 students in attendance

-     Overflowing box of food items given to Salvation Army

-     Check for $100.00 will be given to KC’s for their generosity

 

6.      New Business

    1. Recruitment

-          Cade to create posters and e-mail to Betsy (4-5 designs)

-          Jacob to create announcements

-          Shauna to create sign-up sheet

-          Shauna and Cade will contact Ms. Manske regarding class presentations

 

 

  1. Other Business
    1. City Council: Shauna and Cade will attend the City Council meeting on December 8th.

      Betsy will have information on the corner of her desk for this meeting.

b.   Other items to appear on next agenda: Activity to host other than a dance, recruitment involving internet and recruitment t-shirts

 

  1. Next meeting dates:  Monday, January 5 and Monday, February 2 @ 6:30 p.m.
