Minutes from April 2, 2007 Meeting

 

  1. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers

 

  1. Absent: Amber (no response) & Savanna (working)

 

  1. Reading of the Minutes:
    1. Minutes from the 3-19-07 meeting were passed

 

  1. Old Business
    1. Youth Expo

-          Council will have a display.

-          Betsy will make youth map before Thursday so Jesse, Cody & Ben can work on it.

-          Other items for the booth will be available at the next youth council meeting.

    1. Kick Butts Day

-          Everything went well.

-          Just a few communication glitches at the school, but everything turned out

 

  1. New Business
    1. Fundraiser

-          Council looking into the County Market food stand

-          Posters to be made at a later date

-          Potential dates: July 13 & July 19 weekends

-          Betsy to call on April 4

 

  1. Other Business
    1. Abbey & Styles 4-9 City Council meeting at 5:30 p.m.
    2. Jacob & Savanna 4-23 City Council meeting at 5:30 p.m.
    3. Cody is working on a leadership project for Cardinal Park. He would like us to assist if the project is approved. More information will be relayed at a later date.
