Fairmont Area Youth Council

Minutes from August 7, 2006 Meeting

 

  1. The informal meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Aquatic Park
  2. Present – Amber, Abbey, Savanna, Nathan & Jesse
  3. Excused Absence – Ashlee & Chelsey
  4. Savanna attended Teen Night and said it was a lot of fun and prizes were given out.
  5. Amber stated that Ricky will be resigning from the youth council as he is pursing other opportunities
  6. New Business
    1. Budget

-          Council reviewed budget and made slight modifications. Council will revise budget one last time at the next meeting (8-28-06)

    1. Revision of FAYC “Rules”

-          Council revised By-laws and Roles, Rules and Responsibilities sheets

-          Slight modifications were made.

-          Council will review these changes at the next meeting (8-27-06)

  1. Other Business
    1. September Service Project

-          Council will determine date and time of service project at next meeting

    1. Fall Kick-Off

-          To be held 9-18-06 @ 7:00 p.m.

-          Council will begin working on this at the next meeting.

-          August 28 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers

-          September 11/12

-          September 18
