Minutes from November 22, 2005 Meeting

 

  1. The meeting was called to order at 7:12 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber.

 

  1. Excused absence –Ashlee Hoeppner (e-mail)

 

  1. Minutes from the October 25th and November 11th, 2005 meetings were passed

 

  1. Old Business
    1. Everyone that appeared as guest hosts at the GLOWS Auction had a great time. Council would like to do this again for the future.

 

  1. New Business
    1. FAYC Info

-          Jesse and Ryan are to put together a Powerpoint presentation for the council to present to high school students in social studies/government classes. Justa will help out, if needed.

-          Council will continue to brainstorm ideas to get the word out about the council next meeting

    1. Budget Information

-          Council votes to keep the budget as is and continue the projects listed on the budget if school, time, finances allows.

    1. Service Projects

-          Everyone, please contact Betsy as to a time/date that works for you to bell ring. She will then contact the Salvation Army and get back to you if the time/date you requested is available. Please speak to another council member to be your partner bell ringing.

-          Council approved January Service project: Puppet shows for the Stepping Stones Area Learning Center.

    1. Nathan updated the council on the November 11 City Council Meeting
    2. Council planning on speaker for Monday Dec. 19, 2005 meeting
    3. City Council Meeting Schedule: Monday Nov 28th - Amber
