Minutes from March 28, 2005 Meeting

 

  1. The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers

 

  1. Present – Ashlee, Nathan, Kelsey, Kendra, Justa

Absent - Jon

 

  1. Minutes from March 15th & March 22nd meeting were passed

 

  1. New Business

- Service Projects

                        - Everyone updated the council on KBD project. Ashlee & Nathan will be meeting with Betsy to prepare                                    bulletin board materials. We would like to have a bulletin board at MCW & GHEC.

 

  1. Membership/Community Awareness

- Home Town Focus – Council voted to have Ashlee will contact them.

- Membership – REMEMBER WE MADE A GOAL TO HAVE 5 ADDITIONAL MEMBERS BEFORE THIS SUMMER!!!

 

  1. Youth Activity –

- Council approved hosting dance on May 27. Everything else remains the same. Council will continue to discuss dance at upcoming meetings.

 

  1. Other Business

- Kendra updated the FAYC on the City Council meeting. She reported on alcohol offenses, council approving a street car show downtown, and a gambling license was approved.

- Community Center

            - Betsy will see about getting more information  

 

  1. Next Meeting – April 4, 2005 @ 7:00 p.m.
