Minutes from April 18, 2005 Meeting

 

  1. The meeting was called to order at 6:57 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers

 

  1. Present –Kelsey, Kendra, Justa, Jon, Ethan, Jesse, & Ryan

Excused Absence – Joe, Nathan, & Ashlee

City Council Representative – Mayor Groth

 

  1. Minutes from April 11th meeting were passed

 

  1. Old Business

- KBD

                        - Went well and definitely got people talking. Council would like to participate in this again next year.  Things to do different – possible eliminate tobacco statistics on the back of the shirts. This kind of “gave” away what we were doing. Perform skits for the elementary school students – air announcement on TV.

            - Youth Activity

  1. New Business

- May Service Project: Humane Society

            Council approved volunteering May 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Justa will make the necessary contact with the HS. (Kendra will arrive late and Ethan will be working)

- Interlaken Heritage Days

            Council tabled this topic to the next meeting. Each council member is to bring two game ideas to the next meeting.

            Mayor G. stated that Nicole at the Chamber is seeking a group to run mini golf at IHD. Betsy will check into this.

 

  1. Other Business

- Kelsey & Kendra will be attending the April 25th City Council meeting @ 5:30 p.m.

- Council voted and approved a goal to sell 50 pizzas per person.

 

  1. Next Meeting – May 2nd @ 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers
