Fairmont Area Youth Council

Minutes from May 11, 2005 Meeting

1. The meeting was called to order at 4:05 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers

2. Present – Kelsey, Justa, Nathan, Jesse, Ryan, Ashlee, Joe

Absence – Jon, Kendra, & Ethan

3. Minutes from May 2 meeting were passed

4. Old Business

- Youth Activity

- Chaperones – Continue to seek chaperones for our dance.

5. New Business

- Interlaken Heritage Days

Council voted out Plinko and the soccer kick game. Games the council will create: bean bag toss, duck game, football toss. Council will work games and assist with mini golf and the inflatable castle. More discussion on this topics at our next meeting.

6. Other Business

- Justa provided an update on the May 9^th City Council meeting.

- Council tabled discussion regarding providing FAYC information at and working the City/Chamber fair booth.

7. Next Meeting – Monday, May 16^th @ 7:00 p.m. in the Fairmont City Hall Council Chambers

8. The meeting was adjourned at 4:18 p.m.
